10:00-11:00 Get Approval: Making sure your food product is safe

Many food products require review and approval by a food safety expert called a Process Authority. The NYS Food Venture Center at Cornell University provides process authority services. The path to approval requires review of formulations, container and storage requirements, and processing methods. The Food Venture Center offers assistance with product and process safety evaluations, regulatory compliance, process development recommendations and shelf-life evaluation.
