Genetically Modified Organisms Discussion

Genetically Modified Organisms, “GMO’s”, have been around for almost 2 decades, but the controversy surrounding them isn’t dying down. Not all GMOs are the same and there is much room for misconception. Discussion about the science behind them and their use will help the public to better understand the debate.

Speaker Dr. Margaret Smith, Cornell University Plant Scientist will present on the science behind GMOs and their place in current food and agricultural systems.
