PRISM Talk: Aquatic Invasive Species

Summer is here, which means water-based recreation is in full swing! Boating, beaching, and fishing are just some of the many activities we use our local water bodies for. But, with recreation comes risk of introducing pesky aquatic invasive species Join the Capital Region PRISM in learning about common aquatic invasive species in the area and learn how to protect your local water bodies.

PRISM, the Capital Region Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management, is a not-for -profit, quasi-governmental agency, hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County and funded by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Their mission is to detect, prevent, and manage invasive species that could be affecting natural areas of the Capital Region.
