Pollinator Palooza Native Plant Sale

  • Sunday, June 5, 2022, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

This event is intended to raise awareness of native pollinators, the grave threats they face, and specific actions that individuals can take to help protect them. Sustainable Saratoga will be offering native plants for sale and providing information on sustainable practices. Our vision encompasses a “full palooza” that starts with native plants as the foundation, but which supports a wider healthy ecosystem to sustain all wildlife.

Native pollinators are facing many threats, including habitat loss, pesticide use, climate change, and disease. Sustainable Saratoga’s is working to provide food and safe habitats for native pollinators. Every garden, no matter how small, has an important role to play in protecting pollinators. Planting native plants is an essential part of creating food and habitat for our native pollinators. However, finding native plants can often be a challenge. We are working to overcome that limitation by holding a native plant sale. We hope you will join us! The event is part of the New York State Invasive Species Awareness Week.
