Saratoga County 4-H presents the annual Veterinary Science Project. The 5-week annual program is open to all 4-H Youth 12 and older, who are interested in learning about small and large animal medicine.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with local veterinary professionals in varying capacities. The project includes lectures, and round table presentations, hands-on workshops, and visits to local veterinary clinics and farms. The topics covered will include nutrition, reproduction, animal husbandry, and many others! The coursework is designed as an introduction to the veterinary field with the intent to further foster curiosity. This course serves as an introductory course to our advanced vet science program.
Registration is limited to a first come first serve basis.
4-H Advanced Veterinary Science
Saratoga County 4-H is bringing back the Advanced Veterinary Science program! This is a 4-week annual program that is open to all 4-H youth 14 and older or who have previously participated in Veterinary Science.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with veterinary professionals and other industry professionals through hands-on learning labs and lectures. There is a variety of advanced topics that will be covered including both large and small animal medicine. This course work serves as a more advanced study of veterinary medicine.
Registration is OPEN NOW and limited. It will be on a first come first serve basis.
