"Through the Eyes of a Horseshow Judge"

Do you have a question you have always wanted to ask a judge but never had the opportunity?
Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a judge or wonder what the judge is thinking?
Topics to include; what a judge is looking for in a variety of classes from performance on the rail, over fences, pattern classes and driving.

She will also discuss what the expectations of the competitor are and how can you, the competitor, be prepared for a horse show.

Wendy Soucy has been a Horseshow judge for over 30 years. She especially enjoys judging open and 4-H shows but has also held a judges card with the American Driving Society. Wendy grew up as an active 4-H and United States Pony Club member, and completed Pony Club with the “A” rating. Additionally, Wendy evented to the intermediate level and was a member of the Area 1 North American Young riders championship team winning team silver. She has experience in Huntseat, Western, Saddleseat ,dressage and driving. Wendy is now employed by Triple Crown Nutrition.
