Wilton Wildlife Preserve and Park Wildlife Festival

  • Monday, June 6, 2022, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The festival coincides with the hatching of the first brood of the Karner blue butterflies and the beauty of the wild blue lupine in bloom. The Saratoga Sandplains has so much more to offer than just the endangered Karner blue butterfly, so people are encouraged to get out on the trails and explore the Preserve & Park. Activities will be taking place at the pavilions and buildings around Camp Saratoga on this day so come out and check out the Wilton Wildlife Preserve! This event is part of the New York State Invasive Species Awareness Week.

Activities include:
-Blanding's turtle and reptile information table
-Capital Region PRISM Invasive table talks
-Karner blue butterfly walks
-Wile lupine planting
-and much more!
