Invasive Species Identification and Management for our Back Yards: A Walk and Talk with an iMap Invasives Mobil App Training

Join the Capital Region PRISM, a Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management and fellow Master Gardner's in a two part program. The first portion of the work shop will feature a presentation with an update on how invasive species impact our ecosystems followed by an overview of the iMap Invasives mobile app on your cellular device for reporting those non-native species.


In the second portion of the program a walk and talk will include the identification and management of common back yard invasive found in the immediate area surrounding the Warren Count CCE building. Identified species will be uploaded to the iMap Invasives.

Rebecca Devaney the Community Horticulture Coordinator will be participating in this event with Kristopher Williams the Invasive Species Coordinator of the Capital Region PRISM. The program is a joint venture with the CCE of Warren and Saratoga Counties.

The event is part of the New York State Invasive Species Awareness Week.
