Meet Our Staff

Kristopher Williams: PRISM Coordinator

Kristopher is the Coordinator of the Capital-Mohawk PRISM. The Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management is hosted by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County. Kristopher is committed to working with county, regional, state, and federal agencies in his work. He seeks to provide service to the community through environmental education and programming to non-profit agencies, corporations, school groups, and citizens.

The work completed in the PRISM covers 11 surrounding counties in the Capital Region. The educational and coordinating duties performed by Kristopher encompass terrestrial and aquatic ecology along with sustainability and restoration of the environment. Kristopher has held various leadership roles within the community and formerly taught earth science and chemistry at the high school level. Kristopher holds a B.A. in Environmental Science/Geology from Alfred University and a Master of Science in Education from Sage College in Albany.

Gwendolyn Temple: Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator

Gwendolyn is the Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator of the Capital-Mohawk PRISM. She got her start in the aquatic invasive species field through a fisheries resource management internship on Lake Biwa in Hikone, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. After this position, she served as a boat steward/environmental educator on Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, and the Niagara River for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation where she continued to develop her interest in aquatic invasive species. She recently completed a watershed project internship with the White River Partnership in Vermont that continued her drive to protect local waterways from the impacts of invasive species. Gwendolyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta and a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School.
