Help protect New York’s lands and waters! On Sunday, September 14, from 10 AM to 2 PM, the New York Invasive Species Expo: Community Conservation Day will take place at Saratoga Spa State Park, right next to the Spa City Farmers Market.
This free, family-friendly event brings together local organizations working to combat invasive species that threaten our forests, fields, lakes, and rivers. Visitors will have the chance to:

Watch live demonstrations and learn about conservation efforts
Win prizes while exploring how to make a difference in your own backyard
“Invasive species are one of the greatest threats to New York’s natural resources,” said Kris Williams, Invasive Species Coordinator Capital Region PRISM. “Community awareness and participation are key to protecting our ecosystems, and this event is a fun way for families to get involved.”
