4-H to Host Youth Turkey Hunting Workshop on April 11

Calling all Youth interested in learning the fundamentals of turkey hunting. You are invited to take part in an upcoming 4-H Turkey Hunting Workshop on Saturday, April 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the 4-H Training Center at 556 Middleline Road, Ballston Spa.
Open to youth aged 12 and up, and their accompanying adults, this hands-on workshop will cover essential skills including turkey calling techniques, proper use of hunting equipment, effective hunting strategies, and safe hunting practices. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in supervised live-fire activities.
A special highlight of the program includes a turkey call-making session, made possible through the support of Sweet Cedar Game Calls, where attendees will create and take home their own custom call.
The cost to attend is $20 per participant, which includes all workshop materials, a call-making kit, and lunch. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
