The Saratoga County food hub feasibility study was funded by a 2021 USDA Local Foods Promotion Program grant. In it, we conduct a comprehensive analysis of the local food system within Saratoga County and Northeastern New York. Through research, analysis, and on-the-ground work, this study details available and potential markets for local foods, strategies for accessing those markets, including food access and the emergency food system, distribution efficiencies, a plan for infrastructure expansion, and the effects on emissions and climate change from these proposed changes.
