What is the Center?...The 4-H Training Center is a unique educational facility that serves Saratoga County 4-H, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and the greater Saratoga County community. The facility includes a classroom, indoor arena, outdoor arena, nature trails, limited-ability accessible gardens, greenhouse and other teaching facilities. The Center is located on 44 acres on Middle Line Road in the Town of Milton, and is used nearly every day of the year.While developed for 4-H and Cornell Cooperative Extension use, the Center is open to community groups.
The Center was built by 4-H members, families, friends, and the community to meet the needs of the 4-H Youth Development Program of Cornell Cooperative Extension. The Center was built and is being maintained by local fund-raising efforts like the 4-H Walkathon, the 4-H Bowl-a-Thon, the annual Sleigh Ride, the Fall Auction and Family Day, along with donations and rentals. No Cooperative Extension moneys go directly to the support of the Center.Saratoga County does not provide any moneys for the operation or maintenance of the Center.
The 4-H Training Center is located at 556 Middle Line Road, 1/2 Mile North of NYS Route 67 and 4 miles South of NYS Route 29.
