Saratoga Horsemen's Social

The 2025 Horsemen Social was held on June 20^th at the Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga farm and it was a beautiful night of live music, horse demos, and networking among the equine professionals in addition to all of the local horse community catching up with those we never seem to get the time to chat with at our local feed and tack stores!

There was some amazing food from the Neighborhood Kitchen, each attendee had the opportunity to redeem their drink tickets with Old Taven Winery bar-horse trailer, or grab refreshing local beer from Artisanal Brew Works. We had Jenna Sue singing from the band “Electric Rodeo”, with Christian her Guitarist from the band “Gravity” setting the mood for the evening. In addition to the live music, we also had Leslie Desmond, a lifelong expert in Horsemanship, doing a live horse demo "Learning How to Read & Help Horses", and with that we also had Konnie Harrison with her Therapy dog Dakota doing a meet and great with all of our guests! The evening also had a silent auction running, with a drop tick giveaway that came with each admission ticket. Taking a step back from the scheduled events and looking around the farm we were surrounded by the many horses that work at and call Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga home, and a few that were up for adoption!

To the people that joined us as speakers we had the pleasure of Greg Connors the president of Saratoga Economics and Development Corporation (SEDC) talking about the latest economic impact study that they did in relation to the Survey for the Equine/Ag community that was done in partnership with CCE equine and the Thoroughbred Breeding and Development FUND. We also had the Mayor of Saratoga Springs Mayor Safford join the fellow horse community in our event along with speaking about the equine community and its impact and importance to Saratoga Springs.

The 2025 Horsemen Social was beautiful night to spend outside with some great horse people and even better horses! CCE Equine in partnership with Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga raised over $7,000 that will then go directly to the programming, events and services that we provide to our local equine community. In addition, we had over 120 attendees. And this was all made possible by those in attendance and our overwhelming generous and dedicated sponsors.
