Driving AFTER 25 (Formerly Distracted Driving)

• NEW FOR 2024- Alive AFTER 25: (WILL REPLACE DISTRACTED DRIVING) This class will be a 3-hour class, the fee will be $40.00 and offer a completion certificate to present to the court. This fee will allow for CCE to print certificates and materials for the class. The curriculum has been developed by CCE’s Occupant Protection Educator having taught Alive at 25, Distracted Driving, the Victim Impact Panel and Life After DWI’s.This class will address Dangerous driving decisions with drivers that have more driving experience, better understanding of road laws and the ability to understand the potential consequences pf their driving behaviors. This class will follow a similar model to Alive at 25 as they will also hear from law enforcement and victims.
• Alive AFTER 25 will encompass the following driving behaviors:
• Distracted Driving
• Passing a school bus
• Not obeying traffic signals
• Speeding
• Failure to Yield (resulting in a crash)
• The Move Over Law
• Maintaining current registration, insurance, license
• And other violations as necessary
