Unlimited Garden Fundraiser

What is the Unlimited Garden?

The Unlimited Garden located at our 4-H Training Center was originally started over thirty years ago but has lost it’s charm in recent years due to funding and shifts in the mission of the garden. Formerly utilized by a certified Horticultural Therapist to bring groups of people to experience the therapeutic effects of gardening. It was staffed by horticultural therapists and supported by Master Gardener Volunteers to improve the health and wellbeing of participants. The garden is complete with raised beds, shaded arbors, benches and tables, and a greenhouse. It is completely handicap accessible.

Location: 4-H Training Center, 556 Midde Line Rd, Ballston Spa NY 12020

Goals:

  • Bring together different organizations within the community to utilize these gardens to produce food, grow native & pollinator species that are accessible to all.
  • Include the community & outside agencies such as Saratoga County Veterans and local garden clubs to create additional garden plots that will be more accessible along with being ADA compliant.
  • Utilize the Unlimited Garden as a tool in educational programming while bringing opportunities for our Master Gardeners and 4-H to collaborate together for the greater good

What will funds be used for?

New raised beds, fencing, creating an outdoor classroom, educational materials & more!

How can I donate?

We welcome any type of donation whether that be materials, funds, or your volunteer time! Everyone who has helped in the process will be recognized at the grand opening of the renovated garden.
