4-H Veterinary Science

Saratoga County 4-H presents the 2025 Veterinary Science Project which is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 3^rd, 2025. The 5-week annual program is open to all 4-H Youth members, 12 and older, who are interested in learning about small and large animal medicine.

Mondays at 6pm, participants will have the opportunity to engage with local veterinary professionals through varying capacities. The project will include lectures and round-table presentations, hands-on workshops and visits to local veterinary clinics and farms. The topics covered will include nutrition, reproduction, animal husbandry and many others! The coursework is designed as an introduction to the veterinary field with the intent to further foster curiosity.

The 2025 Saratoga County 4-H Veterinary Science Project is $15 for 4-H Members. Non-members will be charged $20; this fee includes a membership enrollment. Registration is limited to 15 youths, and payment must be received by February 7^th, 2025!
