4-H Veterinary Science

Saratoga County 4-H presents an annual Veterinary Science Project . The 5-week annual program is open to all 4-H Youth members, 12 and older, who are interested in learning about small and large animal medicine.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with local veterinary professionals through varying capacities. The project includes lectures and round-table presentations, hands-on workshops, and visits to local veterinary clinics and farms. The topics covered will include nutrition, reproduction, animal husbandry, and many others! The coursework is designed as an introduction to the veterinary field with the intent to further foster curiosity.

Registration is limited to 15 youths.
