4-H Teen Ambassadors

The 4-H Teen Ambassadors Program gives enrolled youth ages 13-18 the opportunity to share their experiences with 4-H and non-4-H audiences in an effort to promote 4-H in Saratoga County

Depending on county needs, Teen Ambassadors may be called on to give presentations, work at local events or lead educational programs. In Saratoga County, the Teen Ambassadors meet monthly to plan and implement activities or actions on behalf of the 4-H Program.

The 4-H Teen Ambassador program allows teens to:

  • Become active partners in marketing and promotion of their organization.
  • Represent the 'voice' of 4-H.
  • Share their 4-H experiences.
  • Provide visibility as to the value of the 4-H youth development program.
  • Be a role model for 4-H.
  • Recruit other youth and adults to join 4-H as members or leaders.
