4-H Robotics

Saratoga County Wide 4-H Robotics Non-Competitive:

4-H hosts a variety of STEM related robotics programs, with both competitive and non-competitive clubs Robotics Flyer

We have 4 competitive groups:

FTC Team 6955 RoBovines (est. 2012)

FTC Team 11607 HazMatrix (est. 2016)

FTC Team Bolts and Volts (est. 2016)

FLL Team Potential Error (est. 2022)

Youth members of the RoBovines also run our non-competitive robotics programs. They plan meetings, create lessons, fund raise for, and direct the programs, which run from September to June every year.

Non-competitive youth run programs:

First Lego League (FLL) Discover (Preschool Aged) - Our youngest group for kids which meets monthly. We teach STEM related themes, using Lego Duplo blocks.

First Lego League (FLL) Explore (Age 6 to 7) – This group meets monthly. We have them build sets relating to STEM themes and including one motor that they program.

First Lego League (FLL) Challenge (Ages 8 to 13) - This group meets every other week. They build Lego robots and program missions on a 4 foot by 8 foot board, in a non-competitive format, as we teach them the basics of engineering and programming.
