4-H Robotics

Saratoga County Wide 4-H Robotics Non-Competitive:

4-H hosts a variety of STEM related robotics programs, with both competitive and non-competitive clubs

We have 4 competitive groups:

FTC Team 6955 RoBovines (est. 2012)

FTC Team 11607 HazMatrix (est. 2016)

FLL Team Potential Error (est. 2022)

FLL Team Dark Stalker Dragons (est. 2024)

Please go to Robovines.org/youthrobotics for the latest schedule.

Youth members of the RoBovines also run our non-competitive robotics programs. They plan meetings, create lessons, fundraise for, and direct the programs, which run from September to June every year.

Non-competitive youth run programs:

First Lego League (FLL) Discover (Preschool Aged) - Our youngest group for kids which meets monthly. We teach STEM related themes, using Lego Duplo blocks.

First Lego League (FLL) Explore (Age 6 to 7) – This group meets monthly. We have them build sets relating to STEM themes and including one motor that they program.

First Lego League (FLL) Challenge (Ages 8 to 13) - This group meets every other week. They build Lego robots and program missions on a 4 foot by 8 foot board, in a non-competitive format, as we teach them the basics of engineering and programming.
